Based in Toronto, Rachel shoots custom photo content for news and commercial agencies, small businesses, yoga/fitness/wellness professionals, culinary artists and artists/artisans looking for high end, professional images. Rachel loves to work collaboratively with her clients, providing creative, beautiful photos on a quick timeline.

Rachel’s career as a photographer began in 2005 when at the age of 21 she began shooting concerts and editorial features for Chart magazine, Canada’s top music publication at the time. She has a BFA in Criticism and Curatorial Practice from OCAD University (2008) and an MA in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management from Toronto Metropolitan University (2010). She is the Senior Coordinator, Program and Operations at The Globe and Mail Foundation and was previously the Manager, Images Archive and Digitization at The Canadian Press.

Rachel was a co-curator of the exhibition Stories from the Picture Press: Black Star Publishing Co. & The Canadian Press at The Image Centre (September 13, 2023–April 6, 2024). She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and a visual artist who paints abstracts and modernist oversized poodles.
